Wayne and cheryl Faircloth
Mike Clements and Allison with the 4 Boys
Mike Jewel family
Thor and Lise Olsen, parents of the bride

FUSTIAN-\FUHS-chuhn\ A kind of coarse twilled cotton, including corduroy.

Some of my favorite slacks are made of fustian. I know it is a little hot to wear now tho. I just heard tho that it is 120 degrees in Iraq.
A lot of things we worry about are mere BAGATELLE. (a trifle; a thing of little or no importance). some family tragidies however cause much LACHRYMOSE( a generating or shedding tears). a heartwarming story and a tragic one can be found in the June issue of AMERICAN FAMILY. it is a story of my son and his family and my grandson.
Last Saturday we went to the wedding of Hannah Olson(daughter of Thor and Lise) at the massive Second Baptist church in Houston. I was around when she was born and now have witnessed her marriage. Wow where does the time go? We renewed a lot of aquantances from over the years.(pictures later)
There is a lot of new life on the Terry Morris farm in Oklahoma(calves and goats).
I am a little upset over the presidential candidates we will have to choose from in the major parties. I may vote for Bob Barr, the independant candidate. Or maybe Ron Paul, if he were on the ballot. I think our country is in deep trouble if the democrats win a majority in the congress, especially if they have a veto proof 60 votes in the Senate. I'm wrambling so better close.

Mothers day word of the day: Luadable\LAW-duh-bul\, adjective: worthy of praise;commendable.

what a fit word for mothers day 2008.A day to be laudable of mothers past and present. My mother,Vivian Helms Morris died in 1989. all the grandchildren called her "MIMI". Carolyn's mother,Ruby Dodd Johnson died in Jan. of 2007. The grandchildren called her "NANE".

this mothers day past we celebrated with Todd Lynn and Courtney. We went to Gringos for a meal and then lounged around Todd's new patio.

Proverbs 31:10: Who can find a virtuos woman? for her price is far above rubies. verse 28: Her childrenarise up,and call her blessed;her husband also, and he praiseth her.

enough for now,god bless you all,

nescience\NESH-uhnts\

Lack of knowledge or awareness.

In my travels to Italy,India, and the Phiipines I stayed in many kinds of hotels. some were very fancy and some were very low class. Most had elevators. In some of the more ritzi hotels the elevators had attendants and some others had a panel on the wall inside the elevator. If there was an attendant all you had to do was tell him what floor you wanted. If there was no attendant you had to press the button of the floor you wanted to go to.

I guess some folks were not nescient of the fact you had to press the button. Some folks will understand why I have written about this, others will not be nescient of why.

Scripture for today: "Let your conversation be without covetousness: and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said,I will never leave you nor forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

BORN FREE,TAXED TO DEATH

third place medal

I heard someone say that recently and since today is tax day, I think it is very appropriate.

On april 4th I went with Carolyn to the Senior olympics where she entered the scrabble competion. she did good until her second match and she played the national champ. Each game was limited to 40 Minutes. In that short length of time he scored 531 points. He used mostly 7 letter words. AMAZING!!!

Carolyn has been working hard to try and get yard of the month again. Here are some pix of her work.
Must go now and go to toastmasters meeting.

Cogitate on this.

cogitate\KOJ-uh-tayt\ to think deeply or intently; to ponder;to meditate.
In the news recently has been Obamas acerbic pastor. I would not stay under that kind of teaching for 20 years. It was so refreshing to go to church on Easter sunday and hear a message of hope. "do not be afraid. You seek Jesus, which was crucified: he is risen he is not here." Mark 16:6.
As I read the proverb of the day I was cogitating on My grandaughters in Coyle,Ok. Prov.27"27 : and thou shall have goats milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household and for the maintenance for thy maidens."
every new blog from them i am amazed at what God is doing up there.
I urge everyone to be sure you are registered to vote and cogitate on the issues and the character of the candidates. VOTE
God bless you all!!!!!
