In the news recently has been Obamas acerbic pastor. I would not stay under that kind of teaching for 20 years. It was so refreshing to go to church on Easter sunday and hear a message of hope. "do not be afraid.You seek Jesus,which was crucified: he is risen he is not here." Mark 16:6.
As I read the proverb of the day I was cogitating on My grandaughters in Coyle,Ok. Prov.27"27 : and thou shall have goats milk enough for thy food, for the food of thy household and for the maintenance for thy maidens."
every new blog from them i am amazed at what God is doing up there.
I urge everyone to be sure you are registered to vote and cogitate on the issues and the character of the candidates. VOTE

Hyden's girls

These are Hyden's girls performing at our house recently. They are Ayla and Enya. Hyden is still in Albania with no ID papers for Kosovo.

Carolyn has been working on her yard again hoping maybe to get yard of the month again.

I have been doing my chamber of Commerce thing and working in Real Estate.

The azalia trail

March the 7th found Carolyn and I on the azalia trail in the river Oaks area of Houston. We started out at the Ima Hogg home on 16 acres on the banks of a bayou.

word of the day----Plethora\PLETH-uh-ruh\ noun--excess; superabundance.

On the azalia trail there was plethora of plants and flowering shrubs.

this was worth the trip.

To stay as a temporary resident.

From 3-10to 3-13 we sojourned in God's wonderful mountains in Avon, Co.

Avon is 120 miles west of Denver,co. we were guests of the Jerry Clark family. they skied at Beaver Creek and Carolyn and I went snowmobiling(pictures will follow).

God's wonderful mountains are so beautiful and awesome. "come let us go up to the mountains of the Lord." Micah 4:2
