EQUIVOCATE--- \ih-KWIV-uh-kayt\, verb. To be deliberately ambiguos or unclear in order to mislead or to avoid committing oneself to anything definite. It seems everytime I hear the current crop of political leaders all they do is equivocate!!!!!
