GRATEFULNESS!!!!!

This has been a busy month. Our daughter and family came in on the 8th to help get ready for the big 50th anniversary party on the 10th.
Our foster daughter Sheryl and her daughter came in on the 9th and some of Carolyn's bridesmaids came in as did my brother Neil. We were also blessed with Terry and family arriving in the evening of the 9th.

The big party was on the 10th and we had a great time with many old friends in attendance.I believe we had around 130 folks to help us celebrate. Todd and Jerry worked up a great slideshow that all enjoyed.
then Caleb,Daniel,Bethany and Elijah blessed us with some wonderful music.
Jeff and Brittany were so gracious to have a photograher come to take pictures. We are so thankful that this was a time that we had the whole family together for a picture. when I get the disc I will put some on the blog.
After the party we retired to our house for pizza and blue bell ice cream.A good time was had by all.
On the 11th I took Tami's family and Sheryl to the airport for the return home.

The next week was spent getting ready for the next big event-Thanksgiving- On the 19th Tami and family came back to help with all the thanksgiving prep. Thursday was the big day.Inlaws and outlaws totaled 30 for dinner on the 22nd. I smoked a turkey and Carolyn cooked one inside and she and Tami prepared all the fixing.
As we offered our thanksgiving prayer, some of the things people were thankful for were: our families, our country, those who weren't there including Ruby(Nane),Vivian(Mimi),and of course Joel, along with terry's whole family. Were were of course grateful for God's love and the gift of eternal life thru Christ.
Tami and family left to go back on the 24th.

Since I am at the real estate office and it is 5:17 I must call a halt to this epistle. Will add more and maybe some pic's in the next few days.
WE ARE BLESSED,
J.Morris

Yes, more please! Those of us who weren't able to attend would love to see pictures and read stories. It's great to see Hydin again (I still want to spell his name "Ajdin" but I see he's Americanized it)
